In 1999, ROMANCREW started their career in Osaka. Through some of their members participation or withdrawal, they are now as ALI-KICK、Emurasuta、Shoken、３MC＋１DJ of DJ TOKNOW. When their numbers of lives went over 500 times, they decided to move their main action place to Tokyo in 2004. After moving to Tokyo, they merged various kind of music, mainly black music, and their own sense of ROMANCREW was acclaimed in all over the places as “ROMANCECREW presented a new value of Japanese rap”. Their unique live styles which multiple their ways of using microphone standing performance brought surprising and unique groove to people. They released their first full album, “THE BEGINNING” in 2007 and their second full album, DUCK’s MARKET in 2008. Their own music which is mixture of pop essences and funk but still easy to listen miraculously is high quality and it became popular among Japanese rap world. However it became out of production with perishing of their label and their CD became rare that it cost 10,000 yen at the auction. We can see ROMANCREW’s wide music sense from their relationship with various artists. They joined the whole country tour as a ROMANCREW singing the recording song of RHYMESTER/HEAT ISLAND, Sinshi doumei, “My Life/ KEN THE 390” in 2007, “GO/NONA REEVES”, ”SPLIT EP VOL.3/V.A” in 2009, “Sika Yawa/SUIKA” in 2010. They also joined The whole country tour; HEAT ISLAND release tour of RHYMESTER and performed their own songs. Since then, they start awaking to perform in their live with having more conscious in their entertainment to the every little thing. By Shoken joining the caramel popcorn which is the song in “Sinzou/KREVA” in 2009, he released “offutaride” as ShokenXEVISBEATS from the label in July 2010. He offers his music to a lot of artists, such as ALI-KICK, KREVA, Cypress Ueno, Roberuto Yoshino, TARO SOUL, Infumiaikumiai, SINGO★Nishinari, Doushi-T and Toshinobu Kubota. In 2011, ROMANCREW released the “ＲＯＭＡＮＳ’　ＴＨＥＭＥ” after three years from their previous work. It resieved high admiration for their entertainment sense which is a substantial HIP HOP but stil high quality. They performed their release live in Shibuya BOXX On July 2nd and their 1st and 2nd album which was out of production s decided to release again on July 15th. We are hoping for their success in the latter 2011.
