She is from Hokkaido. She is 23 years old. When she was 15 years old, she was given a chance to make two mini albums by appearing on a local TV program. Both were a big hit, selling over 1000 in Hokkaido alone. In February, 2008, she performed her show, “The Miracle Child”, at an African American church in Los Angeles and is said to have changed the church’s history of 220 years. She debut with “CHANGE” in April and her first album “RAINBOW” was released in January 2009. It was ranked #2 on the ORIKON chart and became a big hit with 150,000 sales. The second album “Music is My Life” released in June 2010 was ranked Best 5 on the ORIKON chart too. In addition, her songs were used in the films “ Shizumanu Taiyo” (Cast: Ken Watanabe) and “Akunin” (Cast: Satoshi Tsumabuki) as the main song.
