A Memorial Service for Hiroshima・Nagasaki Victims
-Passing Down a Tragic Memory-
A memorial service for Hiroshima・Nagasaki victims was held at the Koyasan Temple in Little Tokyo on August 2, 2009.
Sixty-four years after the tragedy, victims still suffer from the horror and sorrow of the past.
Kaz Suyeishi, a survivor, continues each day with her commitment to sharing her story.
Suyeishi’s story has touched the hearts of many, including college student Chuji Yamada, who was a special speaker at the service. He strongly urged the younger generations to preserve the history by taking over Suyeishi’s role by passing her story down to the next generation.
